Goodtaste Training and Education is a Nationally Registered Training Organisation with a wide range of fully accredited, and government funded training courses for hospitality, tourism and retail. We deliver training courses through the Australian Apprenticeship program for the following industries:
Training Course Methodology
Our training delivery process is adaptable and flexible - specifically designed for in-industry training, with courses encompassing both theoretical and practical elements:
Theoretical
- A comprehensive induction to the training and learning tools is provided
- Course theory is delivered using workbooks and if appropriate, multimedia resources
- Trainees work through the resources at their own pace around their individual work schedules
- Ongoing mentoring assistance for all trainees is provided
Practical
- All practical course elements are conducted in the workplace.
- All trainees are practically assessed to determine their level of competence (skills and knowledge).
- Training may be customised to meet the requirements of individual organisations.
- On successful completion of courses, trainees receive a nationally accredited qualification in their area of study.
Franchise Training
The training of franchisees and staff, in the systems and operational standards of their stores, is critical to ensuring they deliver the best products, quality and service to their customers.
We specialise in franchisee and staff training for food and retail franchises, by:
- Developing training resources
- Conducting staff inductions
- Facilitation of ongoing training
- Creating Customised Employee Handbooks with your logo and all company information
- Producing Operations Manuals – we develop a fully integrated Operating System for your business
- Customer Feedback – we help you set up a customer feedback system and help you evaluate your customer feedback on a monthly basis
Our franchise-training program is nationally recognised and follows a consistent structure across all store locations.
Training Resource Design
The training resources we develop for franchise training include Participant Workbooks and Leader’s Guides. The Participant Workbooks include a set of self-teaching notes so that units can be delivered as self-paced learning if required.
Packed with a wealth of practical information, workbooks also contain a variety of activities to reinforce and assess participants’ understanding of the information presented, as well as action plans that enable participants to apply their learning as soon as they return to their respective operations.
